Free Book Scheme
Dear Parents/Guardians
The Free School Book Scheme was announced two years ago to provide free schoolbooks, workbooks and copybooks to children in primary schools and special schools. Schools have responsibility for providing these items to all children at the start of the school year.
All schoolbooks will remain the property of the school so that books can be reused in future years. Schoolbooks will be provided on loan to children for the duration of the 2025/2026 school year and must be returned to school at the end of the school year.
Parents are requested to remind their children to take care of their books and keep them in good condition during the year. It is not permitted to write in some of the textbooks.
Damaged/lost books: Parents will be asked to replace damaged or lost books throughout the year.
There are a small number of stationery items from 1st to 6th Classes that parents will be required to purchase in advance of our re-opening in September. Please see below. (Also please remember to provide your son with a pencil case).
To make this easier for parents you may order the items through the school and they will be ready for your son when he starts back on August 28th. All items on the list must be ordered via Aladdin as a “Stationery Pack”. There is a discount of a couple of euros on the retail prices we have been quoted. The cut off date is Sunday, July 20th . Alternatively you may purchase the items yourself, ready for your son for his return to school.
